Child's First Visit

We want your child’s first visit to be enjoyable and pleasant. Dr. Lipari and Mangiameli's office has a beautifully decorated "children's waiting room". It is equiped with a TV, books, puzzles and a place for mom to relax or nurse her little ones.  We feel it's important for children to feel comfortable when they are here. Our staff is very friendly and warmly welcome all the children!

Many of our patients love hopping in the dental chair to have their teeth examined. We understand that it is important for children to establish good dental habits that will carry on through their adult life.

 First Visit Tips

  • There are some great children's books about visiting the dentist. Pick one up and read a story to your child.

  • Review with them what the dentist will be doing at the time of the first visit but keep the conversation short, matter of fact and up-beat.

  • Speak positively about your own dental experiences.

  • Kids are great at picking up your vibe.  On the day of the visit if you are calm and creating a "fun adventure" attitude, your child will be looking forward to their visit.

What Will Happen During The First Visit With Your Dentist?
