SEALANTS

group of four young girls smiling with healthy teeth

Highly effective in preventing decay on the biting surfaces of premolars and molars, sealants are a simple procedure and are placed onto the grooves of the biting surface of newly erupted permanent posterior teeth. This effectively "seals" the deep grooves and depressions acting as a barrier, protecting enamel from plaque and acids. Sealants are most effective and best placed on newly erupted teeth.

Sealants are easy to apply and only take a few minutes per tooth. The sealants used in our office are of the finest quality and are safe. It is important to note that Bisphenol A is not a component in our 9 year award winning sealant. Children can benefit from sealants in the fight against tooth decay.
